The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Receptionist to join the team at our Ft. Worth, TX facility.


 The Director of First Impressions serves as a primary point of contact for visitors, appointments, deliveries, and in-bound phone calls. It performs multiple administrative duties that strongly contribute to the efficiency of the organization. The role is a primary assistance to the Accounting Department. This includes preparation of key paperwork related to the production of our homes. Assisting the Accounts Payable Department with receipt of in bound materials received daily.



  • Utilize professional etiquette to answer multiple phone lines and greet the public and/or customers
  • Assist the TMX Manager with projects as needed
  • Filing, making copies, printing / collating, and any other pertinent administrative responsibilities as assigned
  • Assist with daily preparation of HUD Data Plates
  • Report monthly shipping information direct to our 3rd party State Inspector (NTA)
  • Process packing slips and enter into IGPS system
  • Process all transportation company freight bills for payment weekly
  • Order and manage office inventory supplies
  • Participate in Quarterly Inventory
  • Other job duties as assigned

Front Desk/Reception

  • Facilitate and coordinate guests, scheduled appointments, and work with the TMX Team on assisting applicants
  • Answer the main phone line – route calls, take messages, and manage the initial communications

Human Resources/Accounting

  • Facilitate human resources processes as requested by the TMX Manager
  • Facilitate Accounting Processes as requested by the Controller


  • Able to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines
  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and internal customers
  • Proficient in MS Office software, including Excel
  • Knowledge of AS400
  • Knowledge of IGPS
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus but not required


  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Able to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under limited supervision
