The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Process Improvement Coordinator to join the team at our Nashville, NC facility.


The Process Improvement Coordinator (PIC) is a driven individual who is responsible for evaluating current methods to determine if they are the most time/cost effective for the future success and growth of our facility.  He/she understands that the future growth of the facility relies on their ability to make accurate, timely decisions and have a vision.  This individual is charged, most importantly, with conducting business in an ethical/fair manner.


  • Champion of process improvements throughout the facility
  • Ensure all changes/updates are safe for Team Members; Safety must be a top priority
  • Lean Initiatives – Make sure they are getting done and reported
  • Champion cost saving implementations and follow up
  • Champion facility improvements, material storage throughout the facility
  • Tracking and reporting progress on improvements
  • Review cost savings that come in from other facilities that we get each month to identify cost saving ideas that we could implement
  • Assist in coordinating training
  • Other projects, as assigned


  • Provide a quick summary to the GM and PM of what you have going on
  • Update JTAs and Process Matrixes for each department
  • Facilitate mini Corrective Action Team meetings and organize information obtained


  • Update Process Improvement books with before and after pictures, minutes savings, and cost savings information
  • Need a working summary list of current process improvements and cost savings working and strategic plans and ideas for process improvements, facility improvements, and cost savings

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient knowledge of manufactured homes production
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, Internet
  • Attitude of willingness to learn, grow, and gain understanding as a leader in our organization
  • Demonstrate honesty in all situations to cultivate an environment of trust
  • Understands prints, reads orders, and prepares team for production run in advance to ensure production goals are met
  • Demonstrate clear leadership attributes above and beyond normal job requirements
  • Demonstrate positive influence with others
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of peers or team members
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Reasoning Ability
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl
  • Lean experience a plus


  • BS/BA in a related field degree
