The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Payroll / Benefits Coordinator tojoin the team at our Belton,TX facility.

General Expectations:

The Payroll/Benefits Coordinator is the primarypoint of contact for all compensation, timekeeping, and employee benefits mattersand serves on the TMX team to assist with other HR related issues or projectsas needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Compensation, Benefits and Rewards-
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers and rate changes. Makes updates as necessary.
  • Track and ensure accuracy for team member time cards and process for approval including absentee’s, PTO, etc.
  • Run Daily production and direct OT reports in Cognos.
  • Research and resolve questions from Team Members as they relate to the processing of payroll information such as vacation, holiday, direct deposit, garnishments, employment verifications, workers’ compensation, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other changes.
  • Initiate new employee orientation electronic forms and ensure initial setup is complete in all applicable systems.Perform E-verify on all TMs.
  • Provide guidance to Team Members inquires related to insurance (Health, Life, Dental and Vision). Open enrollment annual elections, Long and Short-Term Disability, etc.
  • Request Family and Medical Leave on behalf of TMs; track and monitor FMLA for compliance.
  • Partner with other departments or programs to establish incentives for motivating Team members.

Other -

  • Primary Team Member responsible for issuing petty cash checks.Maintaining proper documentation and support for petty cash.
  • Assist the TMX Coordinator with projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality for all Team Member medical and personnel records.
  • Maintain effective Team Member relations strategies.
  • Responsible for updating Team Leader and Team Member tier status into HRIS system.
  • Assist with the creation of SOPs and other documentation for Payroll and Employee Benefits programs.
