The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Parts Coordinator to join the team at our Richfield, NC facility.

CORE COMPETENCIES AND JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma, Associate Degree or higher preferred.
  • Able to organize, prioritize, and deliver projects within deadlines.
  • Able to communicate positively and clearly with peers, managers, and customers
  • Proficient in MS Office software, including Excel
  • Knowledge of AS400 preferred
  • Basic understanding of home construction process

POSITION SUMMARY: 

TheParts Coordinator is reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. They mustunderstand customer service and act in a cooperative and positive manner. Theirprimary responsibility will be facilitating the pulling of required serviceparts. This position is expected to work with integrity and professionalismwhile documenting and processing orders for carrier shipments. In addition,this position is expected to develop an understanding of common names for thesame part and communicate exactly what is being requested.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities are as follows.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintaining inventory controls in office and warehouse environments.
  • Taking and logging parts orders for dealers and homeowners.
  • Reviewing parts orders with purchasing to ensure materials are available to pull.
  • Reviewing orders to ensure that the quantities are correct in the systems and that the correct parts were pulled.
  • Packaging and shipping parts to customers within 7 days.
  • Documenting and processing orders for FedEx and Southeastern shipments.
  • Coordinating with dealer, homeowner and transportation service to ensure accurate & timely delivery.
  • Filing paperwork on a regular, if not daily basis
  • Communicate positively and frequently with customers to set delivery expectations.
  • Following up internally and externally until claim is resolved.
  • Creating individual process to improve our customers’ experience, as needed, and reevaluating individual processes from improved customer experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

LanguageSkills.  Abilityto read and interpret documents such as policies, safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routinereports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups ofcustomers or team members. 

MathematicalSkills.  Abilityto add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, andpercent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

ReasoningAbility.  Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving severalconcrete variables in standardized situations.
