The Home Building Group is actively searching for an ISO Coordinator to join the team at our Buckeye, AZ facility.

General Expectations:

Position is accountable for the environmental/ISO functions for the manufacturing location.  Implements and ensures compliance with local, state and federal environmental regulations while coordinating required training for environmental and ISO programs. Ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the following:

Core Competencies Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, associates in Environmental is a plus
  • Self-motivated
  • Analytical thinking
  • Good organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong people/communication skills

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to develop environmental procedures
  • Responsible for overall administration of plant ISO procedures and manuals
  • Schedule EMS Committee meetings and target and objective team meetings
  • Track required data and graph and trend those related to ISO objectives and targets
  • Create and update ISO communication media (board, table tops, video flyers, etc)
  • Schedule, track and when necessary conduct EMS training (EA training, general EMS training, SOP training, etc.)
  • Implement and train team on waste segregation to include coordinating universal and hazardous waste disposal
  • Maintain environmental compliance tracking sheet
  • Maintain all updates to manual, provide document control, file IAW ISO requirements and properly manage obsolete information
  • Conduct thorough investigations of non-conformances using the required corrective action form and root cause analysis
  • Work with EMS teams to develop preventative actions and maintain continuous improvement log
  • Schedule and participate with the EHS Manager in conducting Internal Audits, Management reviews and third-party audits
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of all local, state and federal laws and submit required data to third party for processing of regulatory reports
  • Lead the cultural change to become more environmentally friendly at home and at work
  • Develop relationships in the local community to further environmental awareness and change
  • Walk through with STRATA personnel during scheduled visits. Complete Annual Storm Water and other required trainings
  • Provide monthly chemical and material usage reports to STRATA
  • Ensure compliance with EPA and/or state environmental regulations with STRATA’s assistance


  • The ability to speak, understand, and write proficiently in the Spanish language is a plus
  • Must participate in on and off-site training activities as requested
  • Continually seek personal and professional improvement through reading and training courses
