General Expectations:

Serve as the face of Human Resources for all initial concerns at the assigned facilities. Provide administrative support for all HR initiatives as assigned using skills, knowledge, and abilities gained through experience and education. Ensure the timely and accurate collection and submission of payroll data to our Home Office to process weekly payroll.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate employee time cards via Kronos or via spreadsheets completed and approved
  • Track absentee's, PTO, update TM attendance folders
  • Run daily production and direct OT reports
  • Review payroll documentation for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
  • E-Verify, personnel action requests (PARs)
  • Collaborate with Operations on the integrity of the payroll data including data related to new hires, terminations, transfers, and rate changes and make updates as necessary
  • Research and resolve questions from team members as they related to processing of payroll such as vacation, holiday, direct deposit, garnishments, etc.
  • Assist with implementation of company policies, procedures, job descriptions, and other documentation related to human resources
  • Screen policies and practices to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
  • Provide oversight of recruiting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding processes
  • Partner with corporate HR to assess effectiveness of pay & incentive programs and implement new programs that drive retention and performance
  • Oversee benefits / salary administration
  • Investigate and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

  • Experience with HRIS / Payroll systems and / or Kronos a plus
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
  • Capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information
  • Must be detail oriented and organized
  • Able to adhere to tight deadlines
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and constructively with all levels in the organization

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in HR or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience with computerized payroll processing
  • 3-5 years' experience in a human resource role
