The Home Building Group is actively searching for an ISO Coordinator to join the team at our in Maryville, TN.


The Event Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the creation of world class special events through administrative planning and support to Clayton’s Home Building Group. This position will collaborate with leadership to understand each event’s vision and expectations, then assist in the creation and implementation of that event, anticipating and planning for possible different scenarios.


  • Maintain guest lists, gather and prepare registration materials, manage Banquet event orders and transportation, and other duties as assigned for special events.
  • Handle multiple administrative functions associated with special events (i.e. assist with setup and breakdown of event materials and decor, prepare and distribute notices, agendas, managing check-in process, etc.) as well as invitation list management, budget and metrics tracking, and credit card reconciliation.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipate needed supplies, place and expedite orders for supplies, verify receipt of supplies.
  • Respond to and field questions from participants through all stages leading up to and including each event.
  • Communicate effectively and manage internal and vendor relationships.
  • Identify and implement effective processes and procedures to ensure smooth, timely, and professional events.
  • Oversee budget management and tracking for the various events.
  • Manage post-event metrics and reporting to track cost and ensure cost efficiency for future events.
  • Manage and oversee events on the day of, including problem-solving, welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff, and organizing vendors, and managing take-down.
  • Communicate with marketing and communication teams to create effective branding for an event.
  • Stay abreast on local attractions and assist with the setup of group outings in correlation to specific events.
  • Provide administrative and travel assistance to the Executive level leadership team.
  • Other duties, as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Hospitality, Management, Public Relations or other closely related degree.
  • 3+ years of work experience preferred in administrative support role and/or event planning and delivery.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while working with a wide variety of cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure clear, precise, and concise presentation of all pieces of each event including but not limited to organizing logistics surrounding transportation, room, etc.
  • Must have high flexibility and desire to accommodate everchanging situations while remaining professional.
  • Servant minded with the drive to go above and beyond to create a world class guest experience.
  • Must have great communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Creative thinking skills and the ability to explore or implement a modern or unconventional approach to solving problems.
  • Works well independently or in a team environment.
  • Must continuously use the highest level of personal integrity and business ethics. Faithfully execute all applicable regulations of local, state and federal authorities.
