The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Customer Success (Sales) Manager to join the team at our Wakarusa, IN facility.

General Expectations:

Serves as representative of sales and marketing. Consulting, educating and managing all responsibilities for his/her respective accounts in sales adhering to the mission statement of the division and the company.  Continuously improves the knowledge of the market, knowledge of the division’s product, helping solve community’s problems, organizing commitments and deadlines.  Aids in the continuous improvement of product design, net sales, market share, number of communities, sales per community, return on marketing expenses and accounts receivable days outstanding, under the direction of the Plant Sales Manager.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales and sales growth in assigned markets, with current and prospective partners, while keeping a keen focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain a firm understanding of product and home building process to communicate and train current and prospective partners.
  • Conduct frequent visits to retail and community partners for hands-on training including, product updates, service & parts procedures, Company technology, etc.
  • Manage and maintain knowledge of products and inventory management, making positive recommendations and adjustments when needed.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes to increase NPS and referral business.
  • Work directly with Office Staff to ensure they have the necessary information needed for them to support the facility and our partners effectively.
  • Support Production Team by taking ownership of order accuracy to minimize or eliminate change orders, special request, and schedule changes.
  • Proactively face challenges while being committed to providing customers with excellent services and products.
  • Organize sales responsibilities to maximize clarity, efficiency, and productivity to meet established goals.
  • Elevate housing and perceptions of the industry and Brand by staying up-to-date with industry trends, construction processes and frequent competitive analysis.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Required:

  • Ability to travel 50% of the time including overnight stays.
  • Computer literate with general knowledge of information technology and its application to sales and marketing.
  • Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with company personnel, distributors, retail customers and state and local authorities and other third-party personnel.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Previous successful sales background.
