The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Customer Care Territory Manager tojoin the team at our Wakarusa, IN facility.

General Expectations:

The Customer Care Territory Manager) is responsiblefor leading a territory specific team of Customer Care Field Technicians (CCFT)and Independent Contractors that will respond competently, promptly, andefficiently to claims for warranty service, satisfies our customers, enhancesthe reputation of our retailers, and contributes to the profitability of ourcompany.   In all activities promote thestated mission of the company.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team in their territory that will follow through to completion customer care service requests with the use of facility service technicians, and outside independent contractors.
  • Detailed research into home history in order to create service & parts requests for scheduling In-house & independent contractors based on requests received from retailers and calls with the retail customer.
  • Ensure that all work orders, requests for service, and requests for payments are within the written policy requirements. Escalate special circumstances, when applicable.
  • Provide polite, ethical, and knowledgeable communication to all customers (home owners, retail team members, facility team members, and the home office support team).
  • Occasional travel to various destinations for training, customer care face to face interaction and community owner relationship building.
  • Ensure and promote the satisfaction of our customers through exceptional attention to detail, thorough communication, knowledge of our homes and all components, demonstrate a sense of urgency, and a desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Adhere to and support all Clayton Homes Building Group policies and procedures.
  • Follow and enforce all federal processes and requirements of 24 CFR Part 3282; specifically, but not limited to Subpart I and F.
  • Follow and enforce all federal processes and requirements of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations.
  • Follow and enforce all CMH Manufacturing, Inc. policies with regards to the hiring, regulation, and utilization of all independent contractors.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Two to 5 years of experience in the manufactured home building industry or similar, preferred.
  • Computer literate and ability to operate a keyboard.Successfully learn the programs necessary to complete all job responsibilities.
  • Proven phone and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly and positively at all levels, including internal and external customers, peers, managers, and the home office.
  • Good driving record (Criminal Background Checks / Motor Vehicle Records checks will be performed), required.
