The Home Building Group is actively searching for a Costing and Information Analyst to join the team in Maryville, TN.

Costing& Information Analyst

 The Cost & Information Analystrole is a steward of the organization’s data assets & informationstructures. The CIA provides value to the organization through facility costingsupport, data management, information analytics & change management.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Costing Support
  • Elevate the costing team’s effectiveness, through training & mentoring. Foster a knowledge community, where members benefit from interaction, shared experience & open communication
  • Support facility costing functions & issue resolution. This includes helping facilities avoid large inventory variances due to costing shortfalls or taking corrective action if they do occur
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting, materials management & engineering, to improve facility performance
  • Assist with program home specifications & BOM development
  • Provide facility costing on-site fill in
  • Champion infrastructure initiatives such as ERP and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in change management challenges impacting systems, processes & team members

Data Management & Analytics:

  • Manage the item and item structure (BOM) data requirements
  • Ensure data policies and standards are maintained. Facilitate procedural continuity across the business.
  • Support the data management of Models, Options, Vendor & Customer data when necessary to maintain continuity in department services
  • Develop & maintain KPI’s that will enable the business to effectively pursue its performance objectives.
  • Provide adhoc analysis to provide insight into operational dynamics.

Job Requirements:

  • Effective written & spoken communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills. Analytical, detail-oriented, results-focused, proactive and accountable
  • Desired skills in MS Office, Smart Sheets, Visio, MS Project, ERP systems & SQL
  • Experience preferred in Cost Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain management, Data Analytics or
  • Project Management
  • Education - Four-year degree (Preferred focus: Data Analytics, Finance or Supply Chain Management)
