The Home Building Group is actively searching for an Community Sales Coordinator to join the team in Maryville, TN.

Job Summary:

The Sales Coordinator serves as a resource to link therelationship between the Community Team and Home Building Facilities assistingin the completion of all responsibilities for their respective team memberswhile adhering to the mission statement of the division of the company.  Sales Coordinators continuously help solvedealer issues, clarify and complete sales orders, and organize commitments anddeadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Home Building Facility/Retailer Relationships – Responsible for helping with respective accounts of Customer Success Managers. Working with Community Team & Customer Success Managers on sales, inventory, inventory turns, shipments, accounts receivable and parts.This is an administrative position for developing high-quality relationships with respective retailers.
  • Support- Complete new community applications in a timely manner to expedite orders for facilities.
  • Project Management- Hold teams accountable for deadlines that are agreed upon, schedule weekly calls between Home Building Facilities & the community team. This role will also be responsible for planning & executing a Clayton Communities booth for multiple industry events.

Quality Planning, Control, and Improvement –

  • Planning: (in house) As requested responsible for writing orcompleting orders that match customer requirements, are clear and precise forproduction personnel, available to answer retailer questions, aids in workingwith retailers to maximize sales tools necessary, and develops credibility andrespect of zone accounts. 
  • Control: (inhouse) As requested confirms sales order matches customer request, Monitorsshipments, checks pricing, documents and issues sales change orders, and tracksdeadlines required. 
  • Improvement: (Inhouse) As requested aids the entire team in customer satisfaction.

Sales Productivity –

  • Aids in the organization of all sales responsibilities (mainly clerical) to maximize clarity, efficiency, and productivity within the constraints of the approved product offering while meeting established dealer and territory sales goal.This will include meeting promised customer deadlines, flooring requirements, run releases, product change requests/orders, manufacturing floor information in accuracy and completeness, shipping schedules, and accounts receivable.

RequiredSkills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with company personnel, distributors, retailers, customers, and state/local authorities as well as other third-party personnel.Such communications include the ability to read and understand specifications and graphics
  • Experience working with sales, computer order entry, and manufactured housing strongly preferred
  • Must have a high level of computer literacy

Required Experience and Education:

  • Experience in an administrative position preferred
  • High school diploma required
